Welcome!

Hello There!! My name is Linda. Welcome to my blog!! I wanted to start a new blog that focuses on my journey in Faith and how it is impacting my life. 

There comes a point in your life where you know you just can't handle another minute of all that is coming at you. You've pretty much hit rock bottom, either mentally, emotionally or physically. There is a good thing about being at the bottom. The only way to go is up! I have recently learned about why God "allows" us to be such screw ups. He gave us free will. We are free to live our lives however we wish. He expects us to make a mess of things. After all, we are only human. But, it's what comes out of that wreck that makes the difference. 

 You can either choose to stay in the bottom and feel sorry for yourself and waste your life. OR you can do something about fixing what it was that got you to that point. Every one will approach the "fix" in different ways. And that's fine. I have chosen God to help me to rebuild my life and my relationships. I figure since my way has not worked, then it's time to leave it to Someone else. 

I've seen some of God's work in my life recently. I've been doing a lot of praying lately. And I'm an impatient person. I figured that God hasn't been listening. Or I've screwed up so badly that no amount of prayer or repentance will make a difference. BUT, what I fail to remember is that God does things in HIS time, not mine. And so little by little he has started working on my life. 

I post a lot of things on my Facebook wall but it doesn't get seen a lot. And some of the things I've been posting I wanted to share with people. I will post my Advent scripture reading list from my Facebook page.
